Surveyor - Ballarat (Vic)

We are seeking a Surveyor with 5+ years' experience to join our Ballarat office in Victoria. The Company will support your desire to become licensed with ongoing support of our Supervising Surveyors and cover costs related to your registration and examination.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a broad variety of surveying tasks such as detailed feature and level surveys, set out surveys, as-built surveys and cadastral surveys (under guidance from the Licenced Surveyors).

The successful applicant will be motivated, enthusiastic and be able to undertake or trained to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Ensure work environment is efficient and safe
• Ensure equipment is in good condition and calibrated
• Cadastral and Re-establishment Surveys
• Compile Survey plans
• Subdivisions
• Lease area surveys
• Control survey
• Asset Recording – sewer, water and A-Spec
• Feature and level surveys
• Engineering surveys – Engineering / Building set out, monitoring volume surveys, level and estate control
• Drafting and checking cadastral and survey plans
• Preparation and supply of documentation to Land Registry
• Maintaining knowledge of survey and planning related legislation, strategy and policy

Ideally, the candidate will have:

• Driver's license
• A minimum 5-years experience in undertaking field surveys and processing the data for a reliable and timely delivery to the client's requirements would be advantageous
• Ability to work unsupervised with good communication skills
• AutoCAD experience (preferable, but not essential)
• Experience with Leica total stations would be an advantage
