3 new Precinct Structure Plans in the City of Casey announced

This morning the Minister for Planning, Matthew Guy, announced 3 new Precinct Structure Plans in the City of Casey, at a launch on the property of our client Gordon Gill. Beveridge Williams has been actively involved in the strategic planning of these PSPs, working closely with both the Metropolitan Planning Authority and the City of Casey. We currently represent more than 15 landowners and have prepared development plans with an estimated 9300 residential lots.

Gordon Gill’s project, St Germain, has been chosen by the Minister as a Demonstration Project. This development will showcase the early delivery of jobs and infrastructure to the growth areas. Beveridge Williams have master planned this exciting new community which includes medical facilities, a retail and commercial town centre, a mixed use area, a retirement village and up to 1200 residential dwellings including standard and medium density and higher density apartment developments. The full range of BW services has been utilised to date and we will continue to provide town planning, urban design, engineering, landscape architecture, surveying and environmental services through the detailed design and construction phase. Works are scheduled to commence on site in November this year.
