Hartleigh lies within the Clyde Growth Area as part of the Clyde Creek Precinct Structure Plan,
which sets out the planned development of a mixed use precinct which will ultimately provide
7500 jobs and 13,900 new homes. The proposed development incorporates approximately
836 conventional and medium density housing, providing a range of affordable living options.
It is located close to a proposed new Town Centre and future railway station.
The 67 hectare rural agricultural site will be transformed into an attractive living environment with 25% of
the development dedicated to open space, including a neighbourhood park, district sporting fields
and two lakes. The lakes are part of Melbourne Water’s Clyde Creek Drainage Scheme for stormwater
management and water quality improvement.
Beveridge Williams have been engaged to manage the Urban Design, Planning, Surveying and Engineering
for the development and construction has commenced on the first 4 stages.
