Peninsula Grange is a 280 unit retirement living development targeted at the over 55’s.

The site is a 17 hectare property located on the outskirts of Mornington, Victoria. The development will include a Community Centre, Tennis courts, bowling greens, swimming pool and other leisure features.

The site will comprise of a dual drainage network to collect roof water. Harvested stormwater will be captured in three underground tanks totalling 800,000 litres. The harvested rainwater will be supplied in a second pipe system and be used in the units for toilet flushing and for gardening. It will also be used for reserve irrigation around the development. The implementation of the communal rainwater storages will save approximately 16 megalitres of potable water annually.

Beveridge Williams have developed concepts for other environmentally sustainable elements such as bioretention rain gardens and a water feature pond.
