Description

Beveridge Williams were engaged to gain planning approval for the development of a four storey (40 apartment) building within Traralgon’s Transit City Precinct. Situated in close proximity to the Traralgon Train Station the site offers a perfect opportunity for increased densities in accordance with Council policy.

Being the first of its kind for this area, the project was not without challenges. Situated within a Heritage Precinct key design considerations were interfaces with surrounding heritage dwellings and ensuring no adverse impacts to neighbourhood character and traffic conditions.

Beveridge Williams were able to work with Latrobe City Council and local residents to ensure a smooth planning approval process with a planning permit granted in December 2011 and construction to commence in 2012.
