Registered Surveyor – NSW

We have an opportunity for a Registered Surveyor to join our team, working primarily on some of our large cadastral development projects around Sydney. The role will likely consist of a variety of office and field work and can be tailored for the right candidate.

Responsibilities, according to experience, may include:

  • Ensure that the work environment is efficient and safe
  • Financial monitoring and management of projects
  • Ensure that the brief is thoroughly understood and efficiently executed
  • Mentoring/supervising junior staff
  • Liaise with Clients/Councils as appropriate to ensure sound project management
  • Cadastral Surveys including Stratum, Strata & greenfield subdivisions
  • Follow, maintain and assist with QA systems
  • Maintaining knowledge of survey and planning related legislation, strategy and policy
  • Liaise with existing and potential clients
  • Reviewing workload and resourcing

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in surveying
  • Registered Surveyor
  • Professionally presented
  • A high level of organizational skills and data management skills
  • Attention to detail in completion of tasks
  • A high level of interpersonal, written and communication skills
  • Experience with GPS surveys preferable,
  • Understanding of datums, including GDA2020
  • Autocad/Magnet experience highly desirable
