Senior Town Planner – Malvern

Beveridge Williams is a privately owned multi-disciplinary development and infrastructure consultancy renowned for its expertise in surveying, civil engineering, traffic & transport engineering, town planning, urban design, environmental engineering and landscape architecture. We have a passionate team of 27 town planners in Victoria, NSW and QLD with broad capabilities and experience. We pride ourselves on our collaborative and supportive team culture, we have Planners located in 10 of our 13 offices that also offer an established and recognised regional presence.

Our Melbourne planning team currently delivers town planning services which can be broadly categorised into the core sectors of greenfields planning, strategic planning, statutory planning, development assessment, and impact assessment and infrastructure.

We are seeking a Senior Town Planner with a passion for innovative design and impactful outcomes. Whilst all our planners work on a wide variety of planning projects, we are looking for someone with a particular interest in strategic planning, including preparation of structure plans for private clients and Councils, working with clients with land in PSPs during the PSP preparation stages, and preparing and managing planning scheme amendments.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior Town Planner as you will hit the ground running with a number of our established key client accounts, working on new and ongoing projects. We are also open to supporting an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in their career.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in town planning, ideally with a strategic planning or growth areas focus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A commitment to sustainability and building better communities
  • Degree in Planning
  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in and development industry or similar
  • Understanding of planning and environmental legislation
  • Ability to conduct and understand technical analyses
