Renewable energy & supporting networks infrastructure projects

Delivering a net-zero future relies on infrastructure that is thoughtfully planned, responsibly delivered, and grounded in real‑world conditions. Beveridge Williams supports renewable energy and energy infrastructure projects with a comprehensive suite of multidisciplinary consulting services, tailored to the unique challenges of large‑scale developments. Our teams bring strong technical capability, approvals expertise and local delivery experience, enabling us to navigate complex regulatory pathways and support projects in regional and remote environments with confidence.

Proven renewable energy experience

Our renewable energy experience is built on providing core planning, surveying, and design services that support project feasibility, approvals, and delivery. Beveridge Williams has worked across a broad range of renewable energy developments, delivering services including statutory and strategic planning, land capability assessments, detailed site and corridor surveys, civil and access design, and infrastructure coordination. This experience enables us to navigate complex approval frameworks and provide informed, site‑responsive design solutions that reduce risk and support timely project delivery.

Projects include Golden Plains, Bald Hills and Stockyard Hills Wind Farms; the Carisbrook, Horsham and Wunghnu Solar Farms; the Hazelwood and Latrobe Valley BESS projects; and the Marinus Link underwater transmission line. This experience allows us to anticipate challenges, manage risk and deliver solutions informed by lessons learned on comparable projects.

Innovation grounded in delivery

We apply contemporary design tools, digital workflows and data‑driven analysis to improve project outcomes — not for novelty, but to resolve real constraints such as access, constructability, servicing and staging. Our focus is on practical solutions that support efficient approvals and buildable designs.

Collaborative by design

Renewable energy projects rely on early and ongoing coordination between developers, authorities, landowners and communities. We work as an extension of our clients’ teams, maintaining clear communication and proactive engagement to align technical outcomes with stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements.

Sustainability in practice

Sustainability underpins our approach to infrastructure planning and delivery. We actively seek opportunities to minimise environmental impacts, manage land use constraints and support positive social and economic outcomes for host communities, particularly in regional and rural settings.

Established regional presence

With offices across the eastern seaboard — including a strong footprint throughout regional Victoria — we provide consistent, on‑the‑ground support without the cost and disruption of fly‑in/fly‑out resourcing. Our local teams bring established relationships with councils, authorities and service providers, supporting smoother approvals and delivery.

Our Services:

We offer a broad range of services for the design, approval, and establishment of renewable energy projects, enabling coordinated delivery across disciplines. This integrated approach reduces interface risk, improves efficiency and ensures consistency from early feasibility through to construction.
