Based in Malvern, Beveridge Williams is an established design, development and environmental consulting company. Our ‘Design + Strategy’ division includes a close-knit team of Landscape Architects and Urban Designers working together to create places where people want to live and play, and communities that people are proud of.
We have a strong future workload providing you with the opportunity to work on an exciting range of projects from landscape master planning and strategies through to detailed design. Projects include open spaces, wetlands and waterways within new residential communities and civic infrastructure projects such as libraries, sports hubs and bicycle path networks.
Our multidisciplinary nature means we work side by side with project managers, civil engineers, water engineers, traffic engineers, town planners and environmental scientists. This allows us to have an impact on project outcomes from inception as well as giving us insight into projects from our colleagues’ perspectives.
We are looking for someone to work on a permanent full-time basis with an understanding of the landscape construction process and some experience in the management and delivery of landscape projects, working with other designers, contractors and consultants as part of the project team.
Leading applicants will have the following skills & attributes::
- Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture
- 2 + years experience
- Experience working on landscape projects of a range of scales from master planning and concept design through to contract documentation and contract administration during construction and maintenance,
- Sound understanding of landscape construction techniques and demonstrated experience in the contract administration process,
- Efficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel
- A current Victorian driver’s license
