Goff Street Residences

Overview

Women’s Property Initiatives is a not-for-profit, community housing provider that provides housing for women and children at risk of homelessness by providing permanent and affordable homes, access to support and ongoing advocacy. The Goff Street residences were designed by Make Architecture and developed by Studio Bright, and include four one-bedroom units. They house four single women who had been unable to acquire permanent residency on their own. The project provides a successful step forward in housing Melbourne’s vulnerable population, and tackling the growing concern of housing affordability and homelessness.

Work Undertaken

Beveridge Williams provided town planning and traffic engineering services to support this project. We take pride in our enduring commitment to supporting not-for-profit housing providers, exemplified by our dedicated ongoing collaboration with WPI.
