Work Undertaken

Beveridge Williams were engaged to deliver the road and drainage design for the early works package for the Golden Plains West Wind Farm Stage 2. The scope included project management, feature and level surveys, and the preparation of concept, functional and detailed designs and Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings for the upgrade of 17 intersections and 8 site entrances. The designs needed to accommodate both standard construction vehicles and oversized transport vehicles, facilitating the delivery of components up to 98 metres in length under controlled traffic management.

As the works spanned both council-managed and declared roads, approvals were required from Golden Plains Shire Council and the Department of Transport & Planning.
