Overview

Beveridge Williams has been involved in the Level Crossing Removal Project program since the removal of the first crossings in 2016. Since that time, we have been engaged by multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction companies to provide surveying services for over 70 of the 140 crossing projects announced to date and continue to be involved as new projects are announced.

Work Undertaken

  • Static GNSS and differential levelling control surveys to Surveyor-General Victoria and Department of Transport and Planning requirements.
  • Feature surveys to support design.
  • Cadastral surveys and plan preparation to support design and land acquisition.
  • Cadastral surveys and preparation of Department of Transport and Planning Survey Plans to support transfer of land to relevant parties following construction.
  • Preparation of Gazette Plans, Title Plans and Plans of Crown Allotment to support road declarations and applications under Section 259 Major Transport Project Facilitation Act 2009.
