Overview
Orana is the largest master-planned community in the southeast, delivering over 4,000 homes in the City of Casey. The carefully planned multi-stage subdivision is complimented by 42 hectares of parks and waterways.
The Orana Community Place provides residents with a space to connect with their neighbours and has been developed in collaboration with the City of Casey. The Estate is also provided with an early learning centre, a future government school, and a local sports field to be located centrally within the Estate. Combined with the future Orana Town Centre, the Estate is developing into a thriving community.
Work Undertaken
Beveridge Williams were engaged from the outset of the project for initial advocacy work during the evolution of the Cardinia Creek South PSP, through to the resolution of the Estate’s first Planning Permit for 15 residential stages. Subsequently, the team has worked to assist with surveying and town planning to achieve permits for a further two phases of the Estate, totalling 27 stages.
Planning Permits have also been obtained for medium density development, the Orana Community Place and Early Learning Centre, infrastructure works related to the crossing of the Victorian Desalination Pipeline, the Orana Sales Office Suite, and subdivision to facilitate the future major wetlands and Orana Town Centre.
