St Germain Town Centre – Medical Precinct

Site Location: Clyde North, VIC
Services Deployed:

Overview

St Germain is a master planned community focused on the promotion of healthy living and demonstrates a best practice approach in landscape architecture and urban design. Working in collaboration with the project team and architects, Clarke Hopkins Clark, Beveridge Williams’ design intent for the St Germain Medical Precinct realises a calming point of arrival for those accessing the Allied Health & and other health services.

A series of vegetated seating islands provide a lush setting for visitors and the local community to sit, occupy and or wait. All building edges have vegetated surrounds, with trees and planting providing gentle borrowed landscape views to support biophilia.
Stone paving and highlight exposed aggregate surfaces enable clear way-finding to the center’s main entrances. The medical precinct anchors the western corner along St Germain Boulevard and hardscape surfaces knits back into the existing public realm network of pedestrian and shared use pathways. The Medical Precinct is complimentary to the adjacent Retail concourse, which together provides vital health and retail services to the local and surrounding community of Clyde North.
