Project Overview
St Helena Place is an exemplary infill community located in Melbourne’s leafy northeast. Delivering approximately 240 new homes – from contemporary three-bedroom townhouses to spacious four-bedroom family homes – the estate has been designed to complement its established surroundings.
A natural valley running through the centre, complete with a creek and wetland, provides a focal point for the community and reinforces the project’s strong landscape character.
Situated at the intersection of Diamond Creek Road and the Greensborough Bypass, St Helena Place offers residents a unique balance of modern living and connection to nature, within easy reach of established local amenities.
Work Undertaken
Beveridge Williams provided comprehensive surveying and civil engineering services for St Helena Place, delivering practical and innovative solutions tailored to the site’s unique characteristics.
The estate’s central valley, creek, and wetland form a striking natural feature, but the steep terrain, with grades of up to 1 in 6, presented significant design challenges. Through careful planning and design, including the use of stepped retaining walls and slope-sensitive road alignments, our team worked with the land to achieve functional, safe, and visually appealing outcomes.
By integrating these engineering solutions with the natural contours of the site, Beveridge Williams has supported the creation of a high-quality residential community that enhances the landscape while providing a safe and accessible environment for future residents.
