Relevant Projects

Harrington Grove

Since 2005, Beveridge Williams (BW), incorporating the expertise of the former JMD Development Consultants, has provided end-to-end surveying project management for the staged delivery of Harrington Grove – a landmark 20-year master planned community scheduled for completion in 2025.

This transformative urban release is not only one of south-west Sydney’s most significant residential projects but also a benchmark in how surveying project management can successfully integrate development with long-term ecological and cultural conservation outcomes.

The scale and complexity of Harrington Grove demanded far more than traditional surveying services. The project required a disciplined and adaptive management approach capable of navigating evolving regulatory frameworks, balancing client sales imperatives with statutory approvals, and coordinating across multiple disciplines, including civil engineering, ecology, heritage, and utility services. BW rose to this challenge by embedding surveying at the heart of project delivery – sequencing cadastral, control, detail, and utility surveys to drive program efficiency and safeguard critical environmental and heritage values.

Our project management framework provided continuity of service and deep site knowledge over nearly two decades, enabling us to anticipate challenges before they escalated, resolve conflicts between disciplines, and maintain alignment with client objectives at every stage. By integrating surveying outputs directly with planning, environmental management, and civil construction programs, BW ensured that every stage release advanced seamlessly from approval to sales.

Harrington Grove now stands as a model for integrated development: high-quality residential precincts connected by community facilities, walking trails, and open space corridors that preserve Cumberland Plain Woodland habitats and heritage curtilages. The project demonstrates that surveying, when delivered with innovation, foresight, and a client-focused approach, is not simply a technical function but a key driver of project success.

Through long-term commitment, innovative methodologies, and service-driven delivery, BW has demonstrated the very best of surveying project management – achieving client time, cost, and quality targets while leaving a legacy of balanced urban growth and enduring community value.
