Beveridge Williams has been awarded a three-year, nation-wide contract to conduct loading dock safety audits for shopping centres managed by Vicinity Centres.

Vicinity Centres is one of Australia’s leading retail property groups with approximately $26 Billion in retail assets under management across 65 shopping centres, including the heritage listed Queen Victoria Building in Sydney and their flagship Chadstone Shopping Centre.

The Traffic and Transport Engineering team at Beveridge Williams will conduct annual safety reviews and audits across 65 Vicinity Centres loading docks, focusing on identifying risks and making recommendations to eliminate or mitigate risks.

The safety audits are off to a great start with reports for Bayside Shopping Centre complete, and Broadmeadows Shopping Centre and the Emporium underway. The team are looking forward to completing Victorian centres in the coming months, with the interstate audits to follow.

Beveridge Williams is proud to work in collaboration with Vicinity Centres for the next three years which we aim to bring about substantive safety improvements for the many staff and visitors of all their retail properties.
